The Scotsman Hotel, Edinburgh
The old Scotsman building on The Bridges in Edinburgh presented a challenge to interior designer Juliette Jowett with its tight corridors and various ‘nooks and crannies’ across eight floors. Her use of Estate tweeds, however, has created a cosy country-club feel in the middle of town. The headboards, bedcovers, cushions and leather trims all contribute to this tasteful design.
